31st Annual Livermore Valley Wine Auction Raises over $403,000 for Local Non-Profits Across the East Bay Community

From wine tasting to a live auction, the wine community came together for a great cause.

Livermore Valley, California (October 1, 2025) — The 31st annual Livermore Valley Wine Auction brought together approximately 225 guests on September 20, 2025 for an afternoon of wine tasting and fundraising. The event raised over $403,000 to benefit a variety of local nonprofits that support the wellbeing of underserved children and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the area.

Since 1995, the Livermore Valley Wine Auction has raised over $7.2 million to support underserved local children. The 2025 auction will benefit four deserving organizations, including CALICO as the fund-a-need beneficiary. CALICO provides critical forensic interviewing and family advocacy services to children who have experienced abuse. The auction will also benefit the following organizations:

This year’s auction also benefited the following deserving organizations:

  • Open Heart Kitchen, which provides community meal program and grocery distribution to low-income families with children in the Tri-Valley
  • Sunflower Hill, which creates places and spaces where people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) can live, work, learn and thrive.
  • Valley Humane Society, which provides canine comfort pet-assisted therapy for children.

18 Livermore Valley winemakers were on hand to pour their best wines while guests perused displays that showcased the exciting silent and live auction lot line-up. The live auction delivered on excitement,raising $116,000 with Europe vacations and a private party under the arbor at Concannon Vineyard along with elite wine experiences.

The top sponsors for the event include Alameda County Supervisor David Haubert, Priem Family Foundation, First Tech credit Union with Jeff & Doris Hank, Black Tie Transportation, Chevron, Pwc, and The Wong Foundation.
